Very exciting! How did you select an architect and builder and did you utilize a real estate agent in the area and hopefully do not mind sharing the contacts. How big is your build and how many bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. I have spoken to some architects in Mexico City, however want to speak to others so that I have options.
Currently trying to decide between a city build or a jungle build, however that will be determined by the affordability of the land and the build. Also any advice would be appreciated.

We found our architect/builder via recommendations from friends. We have multiple friends who have used him, for both new house construction, and for remodels & additions.
We did not use a real estate agent to buy the land, but most people do. There’s a few well-regarded real estate agents here in Puerto Morelos that I could recommend if needed.
Our house will be 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms.
