Did you use tap water in your bowl to begin with? Or was it purified water? Thank you for your video. It was extremely helpful.
No – since we were using microdyn with that bowl of water, we used the tap water. Just make sure that you don’t rinse with tap water (otherwise you’ve just undone what you set out to do). So either use tap water with microdyn, or use purified. No need to use both microdyn and purified. HTH!
After using the water with Microdyn to soak the fruit, Do you use the same water solution for the rest of the produce? Or, do you toss and make a new batch of water with Microdyn?
I think you can do either. It’s safe to re-use, however you may want to toss it if you’re washing something dirty like lettuce.
is it unhealthy to soak lettuce leaves for hours in Microdyn?
It’s not toxic if you ingest it, however the human body doesn’t have use for silver if ingested (the main ingredient in microdyn).
