Here’s a few of our favorite friends and business in Puerto Morelos.

Eat & Drink

	Located right on the main square, El Nicho serves up some of the best food in town for breakfast and lunch. Sit on the back outdoor terrace, and you’ll likely see the resident iguanas. The owners, Manny & Astrid, are friends, and some of the nicest folks you’ll meet.
	My Paradise is our go to beach club. If we’re at the beach, we’re likely here. And 2 for 1 drinks every day from 3:00-4:00!
	La Sirena is one of our favorite bars/restaurants in Puerto. Great food and a fantastic staff. Be sure to check their amazing new rooftop bar that overlooks the lighthouse!
	Punta Corcho is our go-to restaurant in Puerto. Their service is amazing, as is their food. A bit more upscale, but well worth it. The oven roasted whole fish is one of our favorite dishes in town.
	Tanino’s is our favorite wine bar in town. They have a lovely garden area and a great staff.
	The Burger Underground has the best burgers in Puerto! Their restaurant is on Ninos Heroes, and they also deliver. Delicious burgers and fries, and super-friendly folks. Joe and his crew are great!

Stay

Our friends Rob & Joanne own Casa de los Viajeros – which means “House of the travelers”. They have 1 and 2 bedroom vacation rental apartments. They’re fully furnished and equipped with everything you need for your stay. Just a few steps from the beach, and less than a 10-minute walk to the main town square. You can stay for a week, a month or more.

	Lighthouse Tours is our go-to place for tours and excursions. Snorkeling, Fishing, Cenotes, Excursions to the Ruins (Chichen Itza, Tulum, Coba) – they got you covered. Tomas and his crew are the best in town!
	Alma Libre Bookstore is the biggest and best new and used bookstore on the Yucatan Peninsula. Plus they sell some great and interesting gifts as well. Our super cool friends Nikki and Caleb are the owners – and aren’t shy to engage in witty banter!
